Application Home Page
"Orders Menu" will be enabled only for the users who have been assigned the "sales" role.
"Order Menu" has the "CustomerOrders" screen option. Click on the orders option to open the order details screen.
Order Details Screen
The customer details such as customer id and customer name are displayed based on the customer phone number entered by the user.
Order details such as order date, order amount, number of items, max item price and min item price are displayed based on the products ordered by the customer. However, Order ID must be entered by the user. Error messages and informational messages will be displayed to guide the user.
"Add Products" button could be used to add the product orders.
"Create Order" button must be used to place an order.
Create a new customer order - ORD001
Create a new order by entering the following order details in the orders screen as shown in the screen capture.
Customer Phone Number - 8056169912
Order ID - ORD001
Click on the "Create Order" button to place the order.
Place the customer order
When the valid order details are entered and "Create Order" button is clicked, "Order created successfully" message will be displayed.
Click on the "OK" button to confirm.
Home Page - Worktop
The screen capture shows the home page that will be displayed. It can be observed that the record count for the customer list is displayed, but the worktop does not have an entry for the order created.
