Reports are created with an aim to communicate information with a clear purpose. It helps the users to quickly grasp the essential information and make effective decisions. Some of the key components of reports are:
  • Charts that show high-level information.
  • Filter parameters that prompt users to enter information to filter out unnecessary information from the report before it is viewed.
  • Report configuration parameters that allow users to configure the data and the format in which it is to be displayed. 
The reports perspective in the Studio lets you create rich aggregate reports and format them based on their requirements. Reports criteria/filters can be configured in the studio, while the report parameters can be configured during the runtime by the application administrator.
