Configuring users and user roles - Example application 
The gadget spec URL could not be found




Administrator Options
   
Log into the application using the system admin userid "admin@teeq.com".

Click on "Manage This Application" option at the top right corner.

The administrator options will be displayed as shown in the screen capture. 

Click on the "Manage Roles" option.

   

   



Manage Roles
   
The system generated application roles are displayed in the manage roles screen as shown in the screen capture.

The application roles must include the following roles: sales, product team and customer relations.

Click on the "User Management" option.
   





User Management Screens
   
  The user management options such as create user, manage users, manage roles and bulk upload users are available as shown in the screen capture.

Click on the "Create User" option.



Create User
   
Create a new user by entering the following values for the mandatory fields such as User Id, First Name, Last Name, Company and Designation.

User Id - sales.one@teeq.com
First Name - Sales
Last Name - One
Company - TeeQ
Designation - Sales Executive

  Click on the "Save" button to create the new user.

   



The configured status message "User created successfully!" will be displayed as shown in the screen capture.

 Click on the "OK" button.
   





Manage Users
The newly created user will be displayed in the users list as shown in the screen capture.
   


Create new user - sales.two@teeq.com
   
Create a new user by entering the following values for the mandatory fields such as User Id, First Name, Last Name, Company and Designation in the "Create User" screen.

User Id - sales.two@teeq.com
First Name - Sales
Last Name - Two
Company - TeeQ
Designation - Sales Manager

   
   



Create new user - product.one@teeq.com
   
Create a new user by entering the following values for the mandatory fields such as User Id, First Name, Last Name, Company and Designation in the "Create User" screen.

User Id - product.one@teeq.com
First Name - Product
Last Name - One
Company - TeeQ
Designation - Product Manager

   
   



Create new user - product.two@teeq.com
   
Create a new user by entering the following values for the mandatory fields such as User Id, First Name, Last Name, Company and Designation in the "Create User" screen.

User Id - product.two@teeq.com
First Name - Product
Last Name - Two
Company - TeeQ
Designation - Product Manager

   
   



Create new user - relations.one@teeq.com
   
Create a new user by entering the following values for the mandatory fields such as User Id, First Name, Last Name, Company and Designation in the "Create User" screen.

User Id - relations.one@teeq.com
First Name - Customer Relations
Last Name - One
Company - TeeQ
Designation - Customer Care Executive

   
   



Create new user - relations.two@teeq.com
   
Create a new user by entering the following values for the mandatory fields such as User Id, First Name, Last Name, Company and Designation in the "Create User" screen.

User Id - relations.two@teeq.com
First Name - Customer Relations
Last Name - Two
Company - TeeQ
Designation - Customer Care Manager

   
   



Manage Users
   
The newly created users will be displayed in the users list as shown in the screen capture.

Click on the link provided for the user name "Customer Relations One".



   
   



Edit User
   
The "Edit User" screen will be displayed as shown in the screen capture. Click on the "User Roles" tab to assign roles to the user.



   
   




Add roles
   
Click on the "Add Role" button.



   
   




Assign roles to a user
   
Select "customer relations" from the dropdown list and then click on the "Assign" button.





   
   




Assign roles for other users 
   
Perform the following role assignments:

relations.two@teeq.com - customer relations
product.one@teeq.com - product team
product.two@teeq.com - product team
sales.one@teeq.com - sales
sales.two@teeq.com - sales
